A full dashboard with made-up data, so you can look around before connecting anything.

What this is

Explore Demo fills Theatrium with a pretend home: lights, a thermostat, sensors, a car, solar panels, a calendar with sample bookings. Everything looks and moves like the real thing, but nothing you press changes anything in your house, because nothing is connected.

It is the quickest way to see the four themes, try the card chooser and open the music room.

Turning it on and off

  1. Choose Explore Demo on the Choose your backend screen during first setup.
  2. Look around as long as you like. Every guide on this site works in demo mode too; you can practise changing cards without any risk.
  3. When you are ready for your own home, open Settings (press Back on the dashboard), choose Connections, and press Switch…. Pick Home Assistant, Apple Home or Apple TV only.
