iCloud Sync between Apple TVs

Two or more Apple TVs? Set your themes and cards up once and let iCloud carry them to the others.

What it does

With iCloud Sync on, your themes, cards and connection details are shared across every Apple TV signed in to the same Apple ID. Set up the living room and the bedroom follows.

Each TV keeps its own backend and sign-in: which smart home it talks to, and its own Home Assistant token or Apple Home access. Those never sync.

Turning it on or off

  1. Open Settings › Connections and move down to iCloud Sync.
  2. Turn it on. Other TVs pick up the settings within a minute or two of opening Theatrium.
  3. Off means settings stay on this Apple TV only; nothing is read from or written to iCloud.
