The Plex Activity card

What your Plex server is busy doing behind the scenes: library scans, refreshes and conversions.

What it shows

Idle when the server has nothing on, or a list of what it is doing, scanning a library, refreshing artwork, converting a file, with a progress bar for each. A note shows how quickly the server answered.

Add the card

Every card is added the same way. If you have done this before, skip ahead.

  1. On the dashboard, move to a card you want to replace. Press and hold the center of the remote's pad for about a second. The card dims and a Modify button appears on it.

  2. Press the center once to choose Modify. The Choose a card screen opens.

  3. On the left, choose Media, then move right and choose Plex Activity. (You can also leave the list on All and scroll; cards are in alphabetical order inside each group.)
  4. Finish with the Add to Dashboard button (on some cards it reads Add Plex Activity). You return to the dashboard with the new card in place.
